My Experience
I am a creative director & producer, a service & product designer, and an artist.
I have a multidisciplinary educational background, including art, design, and business. I completed my undergraduate studies at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, where I focused on Product Design and Fine Arts. I pursued my master's degree in Service Design at the Royal College of Art in the UK. Additionally, I have taken courses in Behavioral Economics and Decision Making at the London Business School, as well as the Entrepreneurship Journey course at Imperial College Business School.
I have work experience in various fields, including industry, academia, and entrepreneurship. In the industry sector, my background includes product design, service design, strategic design, project management, curation, as well as creative direction and production. In academia, I have worked as a course assistant in the Social Design programme at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and as a design associate for the Nature's Way Project at the Royal College of Art. In the entrepreneurial realm, I am the founder and director of Canal Dream CIC and a co-founder of STUDIO ON-AIR. Additionally, I recently joined Slash Arts Gallery, where I contribute to its business transformation by organizing large-scale events and establishing collaborations with various organizations.
Benefit from different disciplines of thinking, methods and tools, I can analyse and solve problems from multiple perspectives. Experience of projects in different industries makes me skilled in cross-sector collaboration.
Art, design, and business are always intertwined in my practice.
I use design and systemic thinking to build frameworks, giving projects a solid foundation. I use art and metaphors to tell stories, giving projects a beautiful skin. I use strategy and business thinking to facilitate collaboration, enabling projects to gradually make an impact in the real world.
